Steamed Clams with French Made Easy & Wine
Tender littleneck clams steamed in white wine, butter, and French herbs — ready in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1½ tsp French Made Easy
- 1 lb littleneck clams (or mussels)
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
- 1 handful Italian flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1½ cups white wine
Directions
- Soak clams in fresh water for 20 minutes to flush out sand, then drain.
- In a pot over medium-high heat, saute butter, shallots, parsley, and French Made Easy for about 5 minutes until shallots are translucent.
- Add clams, stir to coat, then pour in the white wine.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, shaking the pot a few times, until all clams open.
- Squeeze in a bit of lemon, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.

- This recipe works great with any World Seasonings blend.
