Gluten Free Meatballs with Italiano Pronto

Tender, flavorful gluten-free meatballs with Italiano Pronto seasoning, simmered in tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp Italiano Pronto
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 Tbsp Italian parsley, diced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 pieces gluten-free bread
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Bring meat to room temperature. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Soak bread in milk for 15 minutes, then squeeze out excess liquid.
  3. Saute diced onion with 1 tsp Italiano Pronto in olive oil until translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes.
  4. Combine meat, bread, onion, parsley, egg, Parmesan, and remaining seasoning in a large bowl. Mix by hand until just combined.
  5. Roll into 1½" balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes.
  6. Add meatballs to tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes before serving.

Tips

  • Use any bread you prefer if gluten-free is not needed.
