Game Day Spinach & Kale Cheese Balls

Crispy, savory bite-sized cheese balls packed with spinach, kale, and Parmesan — a perfect game day snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp French Made Easy
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 green onion, diced
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced small
  • 2 cups fresh kale, washed and chopped
  • 1 large bag fresh spinach (6 oz)
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Heat butter, olive oil, and French Made Easy in a pan over medium-high heat. Saute onions 6-7 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add kale and spinach. Cook 3-4 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat.
  4. Transfer mixture to a food processor and pulse to a rollable consistency. Let cool slightly.
  5. Add egg, Parmesan, and bread crumbs. Mix well.
  6. Roll into 1" balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and bake 15-18 minutes until golden.

Tips

  • Makes about 20-25 balls depending on size.
