Game Day Spinach & Kale Cheese Balls
Crispy, savory bite-sized cheese balls packed with spinach, kale, and Parmesan — a perfect game day snack.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp French Made Easy
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 green onion, diced
- 1 small yellow onion, diced small
- 2 cups fresh kale, washed and chopped
- 1 large bag fresh spinach (6 oz)
- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup bread crumbs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Heat butter, olive oil, and French Made Easy in a pan over medium-high heat. Saute onions 6-7 minutes until translucent.
- Add kale and spinach. Cook 3-4 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat.
- Transfer mixture to a food processor and pulse to a rollable consistency. Let cool slightly.
- Add egg, Parmesan, and bread crumbs. Mix well.
- Roll into 1" balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and bake 15-18 minutes until golden.
Tips
- Makes about 20-25 balls depending on size.
