Blue Cheese Stuffed Burger
A juicy stuffed burger loaded with blue cheese and topped with pickled onions and mushrooms seasoned with Italiano Pronto.
Ingredients
- 3 tsp French Made Easy
- 1 tsp Italiano Pronto (for pickling onions and mushrooms)
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 6 oz brown mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 4 oz blue cheese
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 large hamburger buns
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lettuce and tomato, for garnish
Directions
- Thinly slice onions and mushrooms and place in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil, red wine vinegar, and 1 tsp Italiano Pronto in a pot, then pour over the onions and mushrooms. Cover and refrigerate (overnight is best).
- Season the ground beef with French Made Easy, then divide into 8 thin patties.
- Place blue cheese on 4 patties, top with the remaining 4, and seal the edges.
- Grill or pan-sear burgers to desired doneness.
- Assemble on buns with avocado, pickled onions and mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato.
Tips
- Make the pickled onions and mushrooms the night before for the best flavor.
